Last Minute Classy Valentine Nails

Hi everyone! Quick post today, for those of you who do things last minute or simply don’t have much time for a complicated manicure on that special day. For today’s Valentine nails I went for elegant and classy red with golden accents. I hope you like them!

This beautiful, rich red is OPI Big Apple Red. I think it’s a well-known color in the nail art community and for a good reason. This is what I call a perfect red, and I think it just looks good on everybody, no matter what your skin tone is like. It’s just gorgeous! I put two thin layers and theGlisten and Glow HK Girl top coat.

Then I took my beautiful golden nail art foil and at first I thought of sticking random pieces all over my nail, but then decided to go for a heart, since it’s Valentines. It’s my first time using the golden foil and it’s all thanks to my wonderful friend Mina, who surprised me with an amazing birthday nail mail. Thank you so much dear! I have a feeling that the golden foil is going to be my favorite technique for a while :) The pieces are so thin and delicate and I think that’s what makes it look so beautiful. I took a tiny piece from the pot and separated it into smaller pieces. Then I put a layer of clear polish and started sticking the pieces into a heart shape.

Doesn’t it look beautiful? I left a few spots uncovered to get a lovely rustic look. On my middle finger I put a beautiful diamond shaped stud. I got it from the Born Pretty Store and it came in a wheel with 11 other studs in different colors and shapes. The direct link to these studs isHERE. I love studs from the Born Pretty Store. They are such good quality for an affordable price. This wheel has 200 pieces inside and it costs $5.99. There are so many pretty shapes in there and I can’t wait to try the rest of them. The best thing is that you can reuse the studs. They usually come out pretty clean from your nail and if you have any nail polish stuck to them, you can gently clean it with acetone.
